I was released Friday evening, sent home with major antibiotics and lots of other meds. I plan to return to work tomorrow, which the doctor said was ok.
The reason I'm sharing all this with you is not for sympathy. I want to make you aware of the necessity of paying attention to your body. I have always been a person who has the attitude "it will go away". I never rush to the doctor. I will not do that any more.
I had pain from the stones, for sure...but I had absolutely no idea about the infection. Had I took the time to note all the things I was feeling, I may have put 2 and 2 together. Bottom line...please take care of yourself. As we get older, things do not always go away as quickly as they used to.
I will try to catch up on all the beautiful works I have missed. Looking forward to seeing what's new on DA! Enjoy your week.
